I think that we have friends to talk to about what happens around us and help each other. To learn about life from one another. Girls can give you a girl perspective and guys can give you a guy perspective. If you have friends fron the opposite sex then you could develop a more than just friends relationship. Best way to get to know a person as a friend.

Your question is an interesting one. My first thought: How Long's a piece of string? Friends are for numerous purposes - too many to list. But in summary, I believe that friends are for helping you grow into being a better person than you were before you met them. It's reciprocal! It's great if it lasts a lifetime.

Social needs. Without friends, we'd die. Humans need companionship and the more friends you have, the more social you are, and the more likely you will want more out of life. Friends are motivation and without motivation, humans can't function.

for communication, sharing ideas (secrets - not all the time), opinions, - and it is good luck if you find person who can really understand you and help if some difficulty happens. That's it the real friend!

I have very good friends . my friends are nice and good and I know I can tell them anything so the trust is very good.

If u look at it this way they help u get on with life. They make school more fun, weekends more exciting, and without them wat would u do with ur exter time ull have no one to spend it with(ull be board)
