Generally aims are short term and objectives are long term. For example, working for a company you might "aim" to finish that word document by the end of the day. Your "objective" might be for you to advance to manager by the end of the year. hope that helps

Aims are the specific targets or goals . Objectives are the plan or points of steps you will use to reach or attain that target or goal.
Both have several meanings.
