ummmmm....Sango has a big boomerang!!! i don't an anime girl with big swords though! ^____________^ i am hyper today!

Well....if you watch Bleach, the female captains and lieutenants all carry swords. Hinatori's sword is kinda big in regular and in released form, and I haven't seen what Rukia's sword looks like in released form. Theres a girl in the Vizards who should also have a big sword. But if you just want a sword that looks good, most any female lieutenant in Bleach carries a katana thats at least 41 inches long.

Girls dont really use BIG swords, they just use normal sized swords and utilize their speed to kick ***, its men that use big *** swords, cause they dont got the speed. Well for BIG weapon, if you count an AS as a weapon, then Melissa Mao, from Full Metal Panic would be your girl, AS stands for Arm Slave, and its bout 2 or so stories tall and can wield swords.

Swordmaster Chun-Lang from PhD Phantasy Degree, but I don't think it counts since it's Korean and only in graphic novel form.
Not to mention, it changes from male to female so often, I'm not sure which she is.
Excel from Excel Saga often carries a fair sized sword,
Utena uses a sword.

The girls from Gunslinger Girl has big submachine guns and sniper rifles.
By the way, does anyone else think that having child assassins as the basis for a cartoon is just wrong?

Sailor Moon had a sword. It wasn't huge, but it counts. Also, Sailor Pluto had that really big key looking thing that was bigger than she was. However, that didn't stop her from twirling it aroung like it was weightless!!
