No, Mike Tyson was never a wrestler for the WWE-however, he did play a referee in Wrestlemania 14 in a match between HBK and HHH.

He is and always was a boxer. He was once the greatest boxer in the world and most feared but that was about 17 years ago. Now he's a joke...he's like a WWE character but he's not.

no he wasn't he was a boxer, he just went to wwf once and he was in DX starting trouble with stone cold . but then in a fight between Shawn Micheal's and stone cold, he betrayed Shawn and punched him. then he celebrated wit stone cold and ripped off the DX shirt.and then he had the 3:16 shirt and started lifting it showing the crowd .
that was mike Tyson debut and only one.
he only did it to get more popular

If your not sure of the difference between a boxer and a wrestler, a boxer uses gloves and actual protective gear and they deal more with hitting rather than a wrestler who throws and pins the opponent.

yes for a really short time when he was really famous just to bring attention to WWF. he was brought in after bret hart was released i guess coz they say that WWF wanted to release bret hart so they'll use the money for bringing in tyson.
