Tofu IS pretty scary (in looks and sound) but it is great to eat soy, especially if you're female :)
tofu tastes like whatever you add to it. it is very bland but takes on flavors well. You can use Soft tofu to avoid dairy and use it to take the place of sour cream, mayo etc. in a lot of recipes. If you sweetened it, it is good over fruit and stuff. You can blend it up with vanilla and honey or confectioners sugar.

It doesn't have much of a taste. If you buy the soft tofu and beat it with 8 oz. of cream cheese and 1 c. splenda and then fold in some cool whip and a splash of vanilla, IT'S WONDERFUL.

Nasty! Ok, not really that bad. It kinda takes on the taste of whatever you are cooking it with. The texture is weird. Just eat meat.
