Australia is the most unfortunate team in this competition. I think they had an outstanding team, with a bit of bad luck in the round of 16. USA just didn't play like they wanted, and were believing their own hype. Their coach needs to be fired, along with several of their "best" players. Yes I am an American, but I know enough that we're still the "Jerry's Kids" of international football.

The US. Two hideous red cards in the Italy match, where they had the tie and a bit of momentum.
A horrible free kick ruling that gave Ghana the decider in their match.
Although, the officiating has been so hideous that FIFA owes apologies to a host of teams: England, Holland, etc...

I think Ivory Coast is...!!!
They're a great team, but they have to face Argentina and Netherlands at the opening match.... (that's soo unfair)
But, anyway..., there is no "unfortunate" in this World Cup....
They compete together to achieve the same goal, so the weak one will lose, while the strongest one will win....

Australia, the penalty kick verse Italy was unlucky. Or the Czech Republic, after there thrashing of the United States they lost Jan Koller and it went all down hill from there.

USA and Ivory Cost
USA was put into arguably the hardest group. But they needed to put the ball in the net.
Ivory Cost they were very unfortunate, they played very well and just didn't have the luck.

I just love these americans, they ALWAYS blame it on miss of fortune!!! Wake up, guys, you suck in this game, and the red cards were for believing to play american football!!
I think Romania is the unluckiest team, they missed the World Cup because of an idiot arbitrary, and they re really good players! I would have loved to see them in this edition! Too bad!
