Yes, it's true, but he should also have been a professional and kept his head.

By getting booted from the game, he assured that the day would go against England, a man down and missing its best offensive weapon.

- Rooney Deserved his red card, I'm not sure where you're getting a free kick from. Get over it he stepped on a guys groin and lost his temper. Shrek deserved to be kicked off.

- English fans are the most un-sportsman like, booing during the PK time.

- England is probably the worst team as far as embracing FIFA ethos is concerned. At the start of the game we hear Beckham read out an "anti racism" piece then Rooney stomps on a guy, the crowd boos....and we're surprised with the english results.

sorry I called Rooney Shrek by the way, he looks like Shrek

Before the World Cup even started, I said that if Rooney gets to play he will be sent off - history dictates that the most marked English player always get sent off - Beckham, Gascoigne, Rooney. It is their destiny! Why, partly because they lose control of their emotions and partly because they are so heavily marked. Sad, don't you think.
I'm afraid Rooney lost control but he could have been given a Yellow - Ronaldo should not be playing because of his cheating tactics. How he can go back to England now, baffles me.

Rooney is an overrated hothead. He should have gotten the free kick, but he also should have kept his trap shut instead of going off. He deserved to be kicked out.

Yup, I totally agree with you, if the stupid biased referee didn't show up, England would have won fair and square, there was no wrong with Rooney and that fcking referee, England would have won and probably gone to the finals and win that WORLD CUP! ENGLAND!

Rooney deserved to be sent off! he stood on that guy deliberately and then he pushed Ronaldo who was only speaking up for his countryman!

Yes he should, but England always play a clean game and very rarely go to ground so we pay the price for our honesty. Sad but true.

So, the Portuguese player attacked Rooney's foot with his balls? Well, it's a theory... I think you need therapy.

Get over it. There has been a lot of cheating in this world cup and nothing is done about it (cough*italy*cough) so I don't even care what teams make it.
