We hear the distance frm New Bedford to Prvidence is almost 40 miles. There might be some public transportation btwn two cities.
The destination is Manhattan NY. If you know better idea to get to NY,pls let us know. Our original plan is to take Amtrak at Providence To NY.

Buses and trains leave from Providence to NYC, it is about 3-4 hrs on a none local amtrak train. If traveling by car use I95 south, it takes u to NYC

Amtrak is the way to go. About 4 hours and comfortable. The bus may be faster, but no way near as comfortable.

Southwest leaves providence to new york
for cheaper travel take the train or the bus(Amtrak or Greyhound)
