I know the feeling, I'm off next week! I agree that the proxy server will have a record of your surfing but no-one has any reason to look there, right (that's what I'm hoping!). I clear my computer regularly anyway, to prevent the next user from knowing what I've been looking at (not that I look at anything dodgy, I just waste time here on Yahoo answers for instance). I do two things:
Go to Tools, Internet Options, and clear Files (everything, including offline ones), clear cookies and delete history.
Then I go to the start menu and choose Settings, Taskbar and Start Menu, the Start Menu tab, customise and clear. If you have a more up-to-date operating system then me (such as XP) you may have to right click on the start button to get similar options.
Good luck!

Near the 'Y!' icon in the toolbar there is a pencil symbol, click on it & scroll to 'clear search history'. You are done. All traces gone permanently.

The easiest (and best I know) to do is to install and run WindowsWasher. It'll remove everything in one click. There's a 30 day free trial at the link below.

bad news dude, if you were using a network connection, the company's proxy server will have a full history of your surfing. the fact that you are asking this question tells me you do not have access to the proxy server, so you will not be able to delete your history.
