great ride... Oman is beautifully, But definitely watch out for the camels.... make sure you try the new Bar al Jassa resort, beautiful... also great food at the chedi hotel... the bathrooms on the way are nasty so only stop at the KFC in Suhar( which is probably 2 hours from the boarder)... also some of the Oman oil bathrooms are clean... if you are traveling with children invest in a portable potty... only travel during the day... some crazy drivers on the road be careful... enjoy Oman...

Road seemed fine to me, but yeah lots of Camel crossing signs. There are normal convience stores on the way and good kabob/falafel. Hope you have air conditioning.

keep alook out for camels drive carefully and go the hatta road and just follow it all the way and on the way stop and have a shot on the quad bikes

it takes about 4 hours, best do the trip early morning (daylight) to avoid any road surprises!!

ive done tht loadsa times. just take water and food with u. itll take like 4 hours i think. ther r great places to stop by and relax
