I'd have to tell my date I'd say "by the way there may be a smell wafting your way " or if i knew him quite well I'd say "I've just farted by the way " and leave it at that cos knowing my luck it would be a right smelly 1 that you couldn't deny. if anything it would break the ice

Say you accidentally scraped your foot on the ground...nah seriously, just excuse yourself or go "whoopsie"...hopefully you're not at a dinner table though and have really smelly gas...nothing like smelling somebody's @$$ while you're trying to eat.
