And to the first poster, California left Mexico because Mexico sucks, we then after they separated from you annexed them. Same goes for Texas! =P Why can't Mexico try not to be such a horrible country.

I thought they were called "Californians?" If they are called 'Mexicans,' could it be because California belonged to Mexico (and Baja California still does)? Or could it be because it is densely populated with people of Hispanic descent? Pick the best answer.

a part of mexico is in california at the bottom of the state. i dunno about the cheese thing....
