You walk.

Yep, you walk. Plain and simple! That's one reason they give you at least two keys when you buy a new car. And a damn good reason for you to get a spare while the dealer is open and before you lose your key!

A locksmith can help if you've locked the key in the car; just make sure that he or she is familiar with your make and model as some are very hard to get into without damage. Most locksmiths cannot make a key for you and pair it to the computer in your car, however.

any locksmith will be able to access your key punch code from your VIN #. But you'll probably pay through the nose today.

If you can make it until tomorrow when the dealership will be open, I'd wait. But if you gotta be somewhere today, then you got no choice but to call a locksmith.
