oh yes absolutely.given enough time it will kill them by giving them coronary disease. coconut oil is tasty but the worst offender of health of the commonly used oils.you could always smash the spider with the full bottle of oil. yup there i told ya i did i did. by the way if a spider has early signs of a heart attack does he have pain in all 8 extremities. do spiders have tongues or gallbladders how about knee cartilage? which reminds me are we all met ting at Fred's house tonight?

I'm sure if you drown the spider in coconut oil it will kill it. However, I think a cheaper option is water or something of that sort, unless the spider liked water, in which case the thickness of the oil might be appropriate. I doubt there is any special poisonous property with the oil though. I think the best option to kill spiders is to just crush it with your foot.
