Find something that no one wants to do, do it well. Do it even if it takes up your break time. Eventually everyone will notice that little extra in you, they will begin to respect you more, and soon everyone will smile when they see you coming. Your work place wll change. I did something that needed done once in a shipyard. It was a union job. It was not my job to do it. There was almost a strike over what I did. Soon everyone knew Who I was. There was a lot of argument over what I did. Once I explained that I was just trying help-I got a new job, a better one and a raise. The whole place got better.

solutions I've tried:
masturbating in the bathroom, or in the open, when I was certain I wouldn't get caught
surf the internet--it is an awesome source of knowldge on history, technology, pop culture.. just put ANYTHING, any freakin phrase, into google.
ask your boss lots of questions. about the job, about how you can take over their job, about whether rice is better out of one of those weird rice cooker things.
ask your co-workers out on dates. especially if they're clearly not interested, not of the proper sexual orientation, and you yourself are not interested (and therefore stand to lose nothing when they decline).

bypass out and do some thing. in case you have not any thoughts on what to do, volunteer at a soup kitchen, or connect any type of community classes. Get some great thing about your loose time.
