the medical student, minx, is misinformed. no modern scientific medical research supports routine removal of the foreskin. it is only right to perform this surgery when a correct diagnosis of phimosis has been made, or there is some other medical problem with the foreskin.
the mere existence of a foreskin is not a problem, but rather a benefit. like all other parts of the body. much like the labia and cliterorus of a woman are beneficial in sex, so is the foreskin of a man... but that's not all. the foreskin protects from urinary tract infection and the transfer of hiv/aids and other stds.
time to read up minx. otherwise, i really hope your advice for parents and men to get the foreskin cut off falls upon well informed ears.
besides, medical students generally spend about half an hour receiving tuition about circumcision.
on top of this, medical practitioners are not taught how to critically analyse research reports, such as not being taught statistical methods. this is a major limitation if you wish to fully understand research papers.
lastly, there is a culture of authoritarianism in medicine such that medical students are frowned upon for questioning what they are being taught.
this has led to medical practitioners continuing to cut of infant boys' foreskins routinely, and those of anyone else who offers to pay the fee.
i hasten to point out that, whilst a circumcision costs around $US200 (a lot more when done as an adult), a single foreskin is worth literally hundreds of thousands of dollars to biomedical companies who according to reports purchase them for as little as $35 each from hospitals.
so... as a man with a foreskin, i certify that my glans, the tip of the penis that is protected by the foreskin, is very sensitive. it is also moist. this makes for great sex. whilst it can be too sensitive to touch sometimes, this sensitivity is a good thing when it is inside a vagina. a vagina is very soft and slippery, made, in a way, for a glans that has been kept sensitive by a foreskin, so as to give it the most amazing form of stimulation.
on the other hand, a glans that has been left unprotected by the foreskin is covered in an extra layer of dead, keratonised skin cells that reduce its sensitivity, and it is also dry.
the foreskin is also very important for a kind of sliding mechanism that makes sex easier, and also keeps the fluids inside the vagina, rather than pulling them out all the time.
a more sensitive glans like this also means men don't need to go on and on as much, before feeling enough stimulation. it also means they won't prefer women with tight vaginas, since they don't need the extra pressure these provide.
see my y1a profile i only participate about foreskins

Some men who have been circumsized as adults (I can't imagine why!) say the sex was marginally bettter when they were uncircumsized. Notice I said MARGINALLY...it wasn't like it was a major difference. I'm circumsized and sex has always felt great...I would suspect the ejaculations feel exactly the same...so it's just something I've never worried about. I think it's as crazy to worry about whether you're circumsized or not as it is to worry about the size of your dick. I don't see any reason for circumsision but that's what I am (nobody asked me!) so big freaking deal! The jacking off and the b--- jobs and the f--ing still feels mighty fine!

I'm sorry that no matter what anyone tells you it will not resolve the issue between your ears. In your mind you are convinced that something was taken away from you, that is you are "Missing something". I was circumcised at birth have led a full life without doubt or regrets regarding the "Hood" over my Knight. It has served me well and I hope you are able to put this issue to rest and get on with it? Life is to short, besides you can't go back and have anything re-attached even if it were true.

I am intact and the head is very sensitive because it is not always rubbing against my clothes but is covered. Yes you are cut and there is nothing that you can do about it. If you have no problems do not worry about it and enjoy the sensations you are used to, And as far as an uncut penis looking stupid like the last writer said I think they both look good. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder so some people need to keep their stupid remarks to themselves

uncircumcised penises usually are more sensitive because of the protection of the foreskin. Some men when erect , the foreskin either retract on it's own or pull back by hand will be less sensitive over time......those men who have longer foreskin and prefer that way will always have more sensitive penises (mainly the penis head) when touch or expose....

Have yourself tested for Von Williabrands Disease, a genetic free bleeding disease - actually more of a syndrome - and the most mild type of Hemophilia (the only one women get). 5% of the population has it and they don't know until oddities like this occur. I have it, and have dealt with what I call "hell days" for my entire life. "Hell days" are the period days with clots like you describe, and no tampon nor pad can contain them. It worsened during menopause (yes, worsened) - and I wear black pants ALL THE TIME, just in case. LOL, there are worse things, but it is a simple test, and I heartily recommend it.
