It means the freedoms we have in the United States. It means the soldiers who spilled their blood on foreign and domestic soil to preserve those freedoms. It means the truth about what it is to be an American.

Having been born and raised in the U.S. and knowing the hardships of freedom hard won,I appreciate Independance Day. Now more than ever living in europe, and knowing of all the celebrations taking place back home, makes me homesick for the good ole U.S.A. I will return for good as soon as my husband retires. Just 2 more years. Theres no place like America!

It means freedom, and independance. But hearing some music/songs on the 4th of July and saying the pledge, national anthem makes me emotional because I know many people died for our freedom and they could never enjoy it (The freedom they faught for). It also reminds me of my who my revolutionary war vet is (John Coombs) and how he faught with Gen Washington in the battle of Trenton.

Here in the United States of America it is a celebration of

to me... beer and bbq's. Then going down to the park with my friends watching the fireworks and trying to get with the ladies. Maybe eat some mushrooms and lay on the grass watching all the colors. God bless the USA, can't wait to get home.
