Depends which books you want to read. The Women's Murder Club series are best read in order:
1st To Die
2nd Chance
3rd Degree
4th of July
The 5th Horseman
The Alex Cross novels are best read in order but it doesn't matter that much with most of them

Violets are Blue
Four Blind Mice
The Big Bad Wolf

He has also written several others but I have not read all of them but the ones I have read can be read in any order

well that has just freaked me right out was just looking at the only James Patterson book that i have but seeing the answer before mine I'm defiantly gonna read more!
Suzanne's diary for Nicholas is fantastic I'm not really into books but i couldn't put it down only took a day to read it and it's great!
