Tanzania is a country in Eastern Africa. She lies just below the Equator and it borders Kenya to the North, Indian Ocean to the east , Republic of zair to the West and Mozambique to the South. She has very friendly people who speak perfect Swahali, unlike their neigbouring countries. Had a very remarkable leader, Mwalimu Nyerere who believed in Pan-Africanism, which was sort of african community living based on African traditions; however, his dogma did not work so smooth as the country remained pretty poor after billions of dollars from donor countries who believed in the same course... like Sweden and the Scandinavian countries....
oooh one more thing, Tanzania comprises of the main land, Tanganyika and and Island... thus the name... and also has the highest peak in Africa, Mt. Kilimanjaro
