I have wanted to be a pilot since I was a kid. I've decided at age 32 to do it before it is too late. Does anyone have any ideas where I might be able to get the funding from?

I didn't expect any sensible answers and so-far haven't been disappointed! Please note I am in the UK, not the US and am aware of the issues about age. Just tell me where to get the money from! Anyone know of any scholarships or Trusts that may be of help? Sensible answers only please....

ok if your a terrorist you should think about just killing youself. but if you want to be an airline pilot it might be just a little late, but still can try because to be accepted as a airline pilot right now in this year it is EXTREMELY difficult to be hired and also you need at least some 10 years I think of piloting jets for the air force, not sure on that though. you can get the fund from the government if they know what your plans are and then you can give it back once you have a steady career! Good luck

you could get funding through an airline company that could part-sponsor you through the training as long as you went to work for them after the training is finished. alternatively you could start a bit lower down in an airline company and try and work your way up, in which case they would definately cover the expenses of your training.
