I have just passed out my tenth and I want to know in which field should I go whether bio. or commerce? If I take Commerce what should I do after 12th?????????

Hmm...

This is a very important stage in your life. Be careful when you choose. Also take the advice of people who have good knowledge in the subject.
Since I also went through that state, I would like to give you some tips.

*Commerce is a rather dull subject if you are not already interested in it. Take Commerce ONLY if you know you like it. Otherwise, chances are more that you get easily bored with Accounting, commerce and such stuffs.

*Don't go by the myth that Commerce is easier than Science. To get really good marks in Commerce, you have to put as much efforts as you should in Science.

*Consider the career options. There are hundreds of openings in the Sciences. There are many in Commerce as well, like Risk Management and related fields, but you should consider the scope for such professions. Then, there is ICWA and CA. But believe me, it is damn difficult to become a CA! It is only for people who are determined and focussed. Find CAs in your family or friends circle and speak to them about what they think... If you don't have any, go to a chapter in your locality and speak to somebody their. It is important to take the advice of the people who have gone through that... see what they feel.

*Interests. See what you are interested in. Are you really into Commerce? Do you read the Business page in the newspaper everyday? As I said before, if you are not already interested in the subject, it is not for you. Go to a private library and fish out Biology and Commerce course books for 11th and 12th. Read parts of it and see which interests you more and which looks boring.

*Consider the question "What if I cannot do it?" seriously. See which of the two has better back up plans.

*Take the advice of your teachers and parents and think carefully. Read the newspaper everyday. Read "Education times" if possible.

*Whichever you choose, always remember that you can do it if you determine to. And hard-work in the ONLY short-cut. You can do anything you put your mind on.

~~I was in a similar dilemma after I passed 10th. Though I had got 100 in Science, I wanted to take Commerce. I followed all the above and took Science. I don't repent that decision today~~

hi! if u are a bright student and if u r really interested in science u can choose MATHS and BIO. bcos this group has a lot of scope. u can opt either medicine (this includes alot of para-medical courses) or engineering.
if u take commerce group along with comp.sci. u can do B.Com and u can proceed with CA (chattered accounts, computer application). whatever may be the subject do it with full confidence.

I you take Commerce & stamina to work hard, you may continue to do B.Com & simmultaneously CA or ICWA.

Hey u can try 4 Biotechnology.Its a new advancing field .It has many prospects .So move with the wind.

in which subject u have interst? if u have interst in bio then u can do b.pharma, b.tech with biotechnology or can go for mbbs. if u have interest in commerce u have chance in C.A. only

If science, then u can choose engineering or doctor
Commerce means u can do B. Com then MBA or CA etc.
