yes u have to purchase a return ticket otherwise they don't give you a visa. They have strict immigration laws

Yes, whenever someone is traveling on VISIT VISA, he/she must have either return ticket OR onward journey ticket. Otherwise Immigration will never allow you to leave the country. Visit Visa means you are visiting some country-right ? That means you are going to come back right ? And if you HAVE to come back, you have to have a return ticket...
