U must check ur RAM first. Just refix it. and then check if again u r facing the same prob. check the system with another RAM.

Hi. Not sure what the problem could be but my husbands computer ( less than 1 year old ) did that for a few months then the hard drive went out. Hope this is not the case with yours.

This is a hradware issue. On board mother boarb makes dirrerent knid of sound in dirrerent knid of senerio.U need to see ur mother board mannual, if u don hav it download it from the vendors web site, there u will get a details of sounds that came out from ur motherboard.

Noy your cpu... This is a Harddrive issue and you should not worry if no probs but back up info just incase you need to replace the drive...

The fan may be going. When it cools, the cpu restarts. Replace the fan.

It's a hardware issue. Most likely a fan or hard drive is failing. It's definitely NOT your RAM.
