Why do most people hate Kobe? They are just jealous!

Because his teammates can't play worth a ****...so if he doesn't take over it will be like...watching kindergarteners playing basketball... got it?

well just look at what happened to the lakers when Shaq left...it means Kobe was good but not great...he may have scored 81 points but that was nothing compared wilt's 100 and that was before 3 pointers...and given what shaq has done in miami i would rate him higher than kobe..but to me the greatest ever has to be bill russel...11 rings in 13 years of playing..its a record that not likely to be broken..and remember he did most of those against the great wilt chamberlain...if russell was in his prime today there would be no doubt he would be winning championships and be considered the greatest ever..he was a shot blocker extraordinaire...rebounder like no other..and can score if needed...a complete player much underapprecated in this day and age

Kobe is the best talent but not always the best teamate. U can make a case that hes the best player in the league, but shouldnt the best player also be the best team player 2 and be able to take over games not jsut by talent but by using the talent around u.

I agree. People always talks about what he lacks. Truth is he has no weaknesses. !st team all NBA and 1st NBA defense. People hate on him for what that skank said, but he's a good guy. How many superstars could've taken this team to the playoffs. The only other was probably LeBron. We seen in the playoffs. He made Luke Walton and Kwame Brown look like contenders. He's great and he'll retire as one of the top 3 or 4 players of all time.

I am a laker fan, but Kobe is one of the best players in the nba, but he still has a long way to go to be the greatest player. I think in the first 3 games of the playoffs this year he WAS the greatest, but he went back to his old selfish ways.

I believe Kobe is the greatest basketball player on planet earth right now. A lot of people won't admit this, because they are just jealous. One on one, I don't think anyone can beat him (including James and Wade). Any move that he make is simply terrific.

thats the difference between kobe and jordan. jordan had the ability to dominate a game from every direction (inside,outside,driving,passing,defense,free throws,clutch shooting). and he made the teamates around him better. kobe either doesnt have that ability or hasnt shown it. his is a spectacular talent who can dominate a game on offense but he doesnt have the total package and he doesnt have that ability to "just win baby". tim duncan has it. best player in nba right now

kobe is unstoppable in most games. he isn't that bad of a guy if u watch his interviews. sure he's cocky, he's needs to be to survive in the nba. i don't think kobe is the best in the nba right now.
i think lebron is better.
i really think it's close but one on one lebron would win
