Im a man ( age 16)and at first the sound of abortion seems tottaly wrong to me... however after i think about it, it makes more and more sense...

My parents wernt ready to have kids when i was born, 3 years into my life they got devorced, leaving me with a few common mental problems(depression, low lelf esteem, ect.) and these lead to other things like drugs but im not going to get into that right now...

My point is i belive a child is better off being killed then having to live a life with parents that arnt around and growing up in a crack home, probly just growing up to be some kind of convict, and possibly being beaten and abused.

I guess everyone does deserve a chance, however i belive if ur born into that kind of like theres not much chance anyways.

anyone else belive abortion is a good idea?

When it comes down to it, abortion is an option. I week ago I would just say the same old...pro-choice BS. But now my girlfriend is pregnant and it is a reality. It is easy for people to tell you what to do and what to feel. But when it becomes real, abortion, when done legally can be a viable option. You have to do what's best for you...some might call that selfish but I call it altruistic.

A: It's not a "child" being killed; a first-trimester embryo is little more than an agglutination of a few cells, less complex, and less "human" than your appendix (and no one complains when they're surgically removed).

B: A woman must have the right to control her own health and destiny; the state (at the behest of vocal religious minorities) must not be allowed to deprive her of that right.

C: The best way to curb the number of abortions is to PREVENT pregnancies, not make abortions illegal. Anyone who opposes abortion but also opposes women's unrestricted access to family planning clinics and contraceptives is a hypocrite. Those who argue that access to contraception promotes teenage promiscuity conveniently ignore studies that show -- without exception -- that it does not.

D: Late, third-trimester abortions, the so-called "partial-birth abortions" were developed for the sole purpose of protecting the life of a pregnant woman in the case of a difficult pregnancy; no woman who can have a safe, inexpensive, legal abortion during the first or second trimester would opt for this dangerous procedure if her health and survival did not demand it. The term "partial-birth abortion" is a misnomer cooked up by the opponents of a woman's right to choose for the sole purpose of creating fear and disgust in those not well-versed in the matter. It is, in fact, nothing of the kind: there is no such thing as "partial-birth."

E: The politicians who derive much of their political and financial support from anti-Choice organizations and churches don't REALLY want to outlaw abortions, despite what they tell their supporters. If abortion were ever really outlawed, these elected officials would be no longer able to use the issue to motivate their supporters to vote for them and contribute funds. They'd have to find another issue as effective, but there is none.

Abortion is required of all moral humans when they are unable to give what is required to raise a child. God himself uses abortion to do his will. It is untruthful and a sin for any person to say that abortion is murder, a sin, killing a child, stopping a beating heart or any other such nonsense. These things cannot be true, because Christ / God himself uses abortion when it is the right thing to do.
No person other than God can tell you what happens to the human part of the fetus when an abortion occurs. I believe that it is not killed but is reassigned to another new fetus. So there is no human death in abortion.

Dont blame your parents for your problems, take responsibility for yourself. Abortion is a personal and private decision, that as a young man you will not ever have to physically go through the procedure. A woman's body is hers to do with what she wants. I strongly believe that the individual should make the choice best for themselves, their situation: Yes, I believe that the choice to have an abortion (or the choice not to) is very important.

i don't really believe in abortion...i believe that the fetus has the right to live...everybody should be given a shot at living...we should not really blame our inadequacies and our wrong decisions to our parents...i know that bad parents can be a child's greatest curse but i also believe that the child has the capabilities to make his/her own decisions...only the person can have the right on deciding how he/she will live her life...you have the choice on how you will live your life...you have the choice whether you would follow the path your parents took or if you will forge a path of you own....

Never, take away a precious life, no matter what the circumstances. We do not have that right to take away a gift from God.
