Great Danes. Known as "Gentle Giants". They are great with kids. I have had eight (currently two). I get mine from rescue agencies-Danes in Distress or Great Dane Rescue (there are rescue groups for almost all breeds). Danes come in many colours but the must familiar is Fawn colour because of the Marmaduke cartoon. The only drawback to Danes is their short lifespan, usually 9-10 years.

Boxers, they are very playful and sweet.
My dog is a boxer, he is my first dog and I couldn't be happier with this breed.

Mastiffs and am starting to love weimaraners. Mutts are great too. Any dog that loves you is a good dog!

ANY WELL BRED DOG!!!! FOr me it is Rottweillers! They are the biggest clowns! They love to act silly and they love other animals and children! My Rotties are the best!
