I think a lot of people would be very upset and disappointed which may initially lead to rioting and possibly wars. Not everyone would believe that it was proven (that's faith for you). Such people would become very angry with those that sought to disprove the existence of God, they would call them heretics. The theists would band together against the blasphemers the wipe their evil from the earth....mmm....

Sounds a bit like history to me. Maybe we know what would happen because the lack of God and the afterlife has already been proven. Do theists believe this, no of course not. They have faith which means you believe without evidence or proof.

Those who controls themselves out of fear of God will naturally be the problem that day onwards. In my case, I like the Creator for the wisdom He used in each of His work. So much of talent cannot come into being without a super brain. To believe otherwise is more difficult as each Creation has so much to tell us. Suppose you happen to visit moon or some other planet and you see and nicely made house there, what will you think? In my case I will make sure that there is someone who made it. That's it.

Most definitely for the better, except for the people on their last legs. Just think no more Mormons knocking on the door on a Sunday morning, lovely thought!!!
It would not change my life as I don't practise but the believer's, they would not be able to handle the truth, mass suicides all round.

i think it would possibly answer alot of questions on how we became here today as we are i.e evolution. but i personal think that these cult groups or anybody followin any such thing as god there is always going to be some mad nutter to take his place. we have had religion controlling our world for hundreds of years as much as it causes alot of war an aggro could you honestly imagine life without it. we have to be believe in something sometime whether we are followers or not. p.s im not a relgious person at all and very much believe in evolution but sometimes its nice to believe there a such a thing as a the pearly white gates.

probably worse.

im pretty sure i would become worse anyway. and lots of people would care less about things if they didnt feel that God was looking.

then there aer of course the religious wars. but something tell me those people would be at war anyhow and they are just using religion as an excuse.

i think a lot worse.

we all know that the church and the catholic pope is the biggest cheat on earth.

from the sex scandals of the church

the religious cults aiming for live cable preaching just to recolt money from a bunch of naive and pathetic citizens,

from the mafia actions of the pope

I guess the curch stinks as much as religious fanaticism elsewhere around the world.

and yes by the way, I LOOVED DA VINCI CODE.

religion and faith are non scientific concepts. One cannot prove or disprove God, hence the term faith. But religion, just like any ideology or belief can be used for good and evil. It depends on the hands it falls on. People will be people regardless, and the rationalizations they use to justify their behavior is irrelevant. Religion is freeing and constraining. It depends on what the person needs it for.

Yes, i think believer's would become worse. They would lose hope and reason for self restraint. Paul himself says the slogan would be, "Eat, drink, and be merry, for tomorrow we die." Many would lose moral restraint, since there would be no accountability or consequence.

There is no proof to support any such belief, so why would you think people would give up their delusions based on evidence?

According to thumpers, fear of hell is the only reason they don't murder, rape, steal, lie and engage in mass sociopathic behavior. It's good they have something to control their violent impulses.

If if was proven, it would never get out to general knowledge and would be denied.

Religion servers to many interest worldwide and is indeed a necessary evil.
