I too am agnostic and fully believe that everyone who follows any religion is being misled by the teachings of crazy people over the centuries. Some stories are based on factual events but as you know yourself you can start a story by telling one person and by the time several hundred people have told it the original story you told has changed. These people are brought up in such strict environments regarding their religion as the letter of the law. We on the other hand are able to go out and do and ridicule without any repercussion! Brainwashing springs to mind. At the end of the day no religion teaches you to be evil only people teach you to be evil and that an other religion is wrong. All this trouble has been going on for hundreds of years since the first crusade's! and will probably carry on for hundreds of years more.

I think the question needs to be broken down a bit. I seriously doubt that most Muslims think that suicide bombings are justified in general. And certainly Muslim scholars have issued many rulings against it. I think what many Muslims are thinking is, in some cases, such as in Palestine where there is almost no means of fighting the occupation, that the Muslims there have no choice. Whether or not that makes it okay or right is a separate issue. Sometimes people go to extreme measures that seem absolutely insane when they honestly feel there's nothing else they can do and especially when they also feel driven to get revenge for the losses they have had to endure.

I don't think we can lump all Muslims into the same catagory. Christians have their own far out extremists groups as well. It all comes down to the leadership they have. Some individuals can have distorted views on their own religion. All it then takes is a few people to begin to follow the teaching of these extremists, and soon you have a group not unlike the Muslims you are talking about. Please try to be a little more open minded with the Muslims, they're not all suicide bombers.

I in 7 muslims ought to be wiped off the earth then. And personally I would like the parents and immediate family of the 7/7 bombers and failed copycat bombers rounded up, all their possessions and money confiscated, and deported to Pakistan or wherever they came from. If you're going to raise children that have that much contempt for human lives/non-muslims, you don't deserve British citizenship.
And yes, a lot of people clearly are misinterpreting Islamic scriptures, if they see bloodthirsty murder of civilians, muslim or not, as a way to achieve something or get to paradise.

What news?
Please give reference.
Who has done this study?
How come you took it for granted, the this news is honest and accurate?
Has the news made the study in about 92 Islamic countries?
or was it done in one country, or may be in one city?
I could give more questions , which you and others know it , and you know it that it is the rational way of thinking before passing a judgment or believing the news....
We have seen in the past few years , how much we can trust the news.....
Note: Thanks CROWKIT for you remail, the system rejected my reply to you through the email.
14% of Muslims in UK this it is justified, this is very rational of Muslims. Her and other places, I see more than 25% wish to kill all Muslims without questioning.

Suicide bombing is the weapon of the weak in an asymmetric war, where one side has massive strength and firepower, and the other side has little but the willingness of it's people to die for their cause. As such, it's understandable why a large percentage of people think it's an acceptable tactic. In their eyes, it's either suicide bombs or meekly accepting subjugation.
Not my opinion, I hasten to add. Understanding someone's motivation doesn't mean you agree with them.

Its on the yahoo.co.uk homepage. So, its a legit study. It also says that some percent of british muslims would be proud if a close member of their famly joined the Alkaida.
Bastards .. they should just go back to their own bloody country. All they do is cause trouble and sponge off our government.
Arghhh they make my blood boil!

well obviously you are refering to the muslims in palestine. they homes are bombed for no reason by the jewish terrorists. obviously the muslims would approve.
much of the world terrorism originates from the jews and the muslims in the middle east.
if the USA stopped support to the jews and zionists of that area, and tells each side to just shut up and live in peace, (both jews and muslims), it would be much simple.
Unfortunately the west needs to sell israel it's weapons and well...that's the price to pay I guess when one is greedy and stupid...
