I like to think Heaven is what ever you would like it to be. If you imagine yourself sitting on the front porch talking to God, then I believe that is what Heaven will be like for you. Since God is everything and everywhere, this would not be a problem, minus the beer and pot of course. Fundamentalists will probably damn you to hell for this question, but what they believe is whatever they have read quickly in the Bible, and taken completly out of context to fit their purpose. Don't take any of what they say too seriously. Believe what you want, just as long as you believe.

I think if God actually existed, he would be incredibly bored by now.
I'm nearly 60 and cannot imagine living this same life for another 100 years, much less an eternity.
There are only so many times one can do the same things and find any joy or amusement in those things, no matter how pleasurable they may be the first 1,000 times you do them.
And, if God knows & can do everything, he has no challenges and his life is an endless circle of doing the same things over & over again.
That would be sheer hell.

This is the biggest misconception in the world. Jesus Christ never claimed divinity. he invited people to worship only 1 GOD. The 'theory of Trinity' and 'Jesus as Saviour' is nothing but an easy way to escape self-accountability and follow your mean desires.
The Belief in an afterlife is necessary for the proper sustainance of human kind. Where every soul has to account for whatever good or bad it has done. The 'Theory of Saviour' has destroyed our moral and ethical values. Just because Jesus died for our sins, do as you like is the belief of maniacs who want to rule the world as per their selfish & lustful desires.
1) You are lost in a forest, there you see a house in the middle of the forest. you are certain that this house has been built by someone. you may not know who he is but you are dead sure that the house has a owner. WHY?
2)You dont see Infra-Red radiations, yet you believe its existence. you dont see the waves that are meitted while we talk, yet you can feel it. you have not seen a single galaxy yet you believe the presence of millions of galaxies. WHY?
3) You were not present when an Apple fell over Newton. And he discovered Gravity. yet you believe Newton discovered 'Gravity'. have you seen it? Yet you believe in the phenomenon called 'Gravity'.
4) Nobody knows where is the exact location of 'Mind' and the 'Soul' in the human body, yet millions accept its prescence.
If you can affirm all these without seeing them, Can not the whole of the universe be built by ALmighty GOD???
The house in the forest has to have an owner, The Gigantic universe running in precise equilibrium, without an Owner?
GOD exists and HE is only ONE. And he sent Prophets to guide mankind.
Jesus Christ was a Prophet just like Joseph, Noah, Adam etc.
For guiding Mankind, in every age GOD sent a messenger. The Last and the final Messenger was sent to the most pagan tribes in the world. The people who used to eat dead meat, bury their daughters alive, were transformed into the most civilized people. The man is Muhammed, sent by GOD to affirm the true message of Moses & Jesus and to make every soul aware of the Hereafter, where every Good and Bad Deed will be weighed and returned.

I don't think the joint would be appropriate, but if you go to the link below and scroll down to midpage you'll see a model of Solomon's Temple, which was built to resemble the heavenly temple of God, as revealed to Solomon, who was the smartest fellow in the world, at that time.
There's a nice set of steps there. Whether that constitutes a porch, is up to you.
As for what to expect, if you manage to overcome the world and end up in heaven with God, he promises to let you hang around with him any time you like. He'll even let you sit on his throne with him. For proof, check out the appropriate section of the Book of Revelation.
Here's the link to the picture of the temple:

I even have had substantial physique photograph subject concerns and borderline anorexia, and generally i'm basically no longer hungry. If I have been you, i could basically artwork on stepping into some nutritious nutrients extremely than a super variety of risky nutrients, and in the process the day extremely than in super quantities and then small quantities, because of the fact whilst you're like me, it feels gross to consume too plenty at as quickly as. once you're particularly apprehensive, you should work out a doctor.

God having a porch and sharing a cold one with you is your version of heaven, and a valid one. It would be considered pleasant by a lot of people.
