We've tried the Playdoh, Chalk, bubbles, and coloring. I would like some other ideas to entertain my daughter. Any ideas are welcomed. Would prefer to NOT buy MORE toys! And she watches enough TV already and computer-related activities are NOT an option. Thanks in advance.

let her have a fashion show for you with her favorite dress up clothes. or maybe with some of your dresses that you don't mind her troping around in. put down a few towels as a walkway and she can show you her own special fashion. If you don't like that, is there a park or rec center nearby? a recreation center usually only costs a few dollars toget in and is great to break the norm of the days of summer especially if there is a pool. If there is a mall not to far away with a pet store in it, take her to look at the puppies. make sure you tell her you are just looking! or, you could take a walk with her and ask her to name all of the things that start with a "b" sound, like birds, soemthing like that. If you have the ingredients, you could bake cookies together, that is the best for somebody her age! try the second website, on the right side there might be stuff to help! good luck!

Is she bored with these things or are you? Honest question. If she's not bored with them, stick to them. If she is bored with them then I'd try something that will require her to use her imagination.

Make cookies and make a big deal out of it. Then have a tea party with her where you both dress up.

Play hide and seek with a small object. Like a spool of thread or something. Tell her when she's warm or cold to help her find it.

Teach her to dance. Play some music and dance with her. Add costumes from things in your closet. Make believe is a great world for 4 year olds.

Whatever you choose, enjoy this time. It's gone very soon. Remember to take pictures. When she's an adult she will love them along with the memories.

Making models out of containers.

Making musical instruments by putting rice in containers to shake.

Creating a nature collage by collecting twigs, feathers etc.

Having a toys tea party, inviting all her soft toys.

These all went down well when my daughter was about the same age!

how about putting her out the back with some old pots and pans in the sandpit with some water or even in the mud and let her learn to entertain herself sometimes.
