parents cant pop up from nowhere with such a decision, if they act this way they should have raised me in a way to accept and anticipate such decision . and if i accept to live with parents who think this way, i should accept such a decision.

If you do not want this marriage, no one could force you to it.
As for your parents, try to convince them, and use all nice and kind methods with them, If it did not work, talk to some relatives of yours , whom you trust their wisdom, so they could interfere in a peaceful way to save you from such a relation.
At the end, if all did not work, just simply say no, and stick to it, as this marriage will be bad for you, and the old man too, as things will go sour in the near future.

If you are in America, you (a girl that is) are of legal age at 18. So you do not have to do what your parents say. You can refuse to marry anyone you don't want to.

if you love the man no problem , go ahead and please both your parents and you,
if you do not love , him the only way out of this is to run away, you are a big girl now and can tek care of yourself, pliz run away, if you cant stand it.seriously you can not be forced to marry someone you do not want to!

This is a very big age difference,and parents are doing injustice to their own daughter.
Daughter should resist it and if she is courageous ,should run away to a shelter for woman.
Ask for for help of other kind people.
