It is a very common dilemna you are going through right now, I dont know the reason but based on experiences, at your age, you are trying to find your identity and in the process of doing so the problems arise with your parents, some of them they dont understand any of these. Your responsibility is to tell your parents openly on what you are going through. Maybe you need a little space and privacy. For now, deal with your problem with your parents, this is not a good site for you to go to ask as there are many bad people out there that will take advantage of you.

You really didn't give much of why you are depressed and what is causing you and your parents to have a problem. I would hope that you would feel safe enough to sit down and talk to your parents about any problem that arises, from small to big... I would love to help you out and if you would like someone to lean on, send me an email, I'll gladly try to help you in any way I can. Hang in there, it does get better :)

Your parents were sixteen once, they know the pitfalls and pressure, like drugs, relationships, etc... I'm assuming you think they're tooooo controlling, imposing unrealistic boundaries like be home by ten o' clock and stuff like that. Well all they are trying to do, is protect you from getting hurt, emotionally and physically, coz they love you. Try talking to them, negotiating for more time out, just 15 minutes to start with. Stick to what you agree, show them you're mature enough respect their wishes and they will allow you a little bit more freedom.

at this age there is likely to be a kind of power struggle. tennager and parents struggle for space and one-upmanship. they try to dominate.
however, in majority of cases it would resolve with time.
so be brave and accept the situation and talk to your parents to impress upon your point of view.
else find some good people to talk and share with to vent your unnecessary feelings.
