2.mostly meat, potatoes and limes to keep from getting scurvy
3comader? commander is military rank below captain, commodore is rank above captain but below admiral.
4.yes they did.
5.walking, horses,wagons and ships.
6.yes guns have been around for about 500 years.

1-You can see that type of clothes in museums etc... There are also some very good books which give examples of what clothing was like in different eras.
2-They ate very much the sames as us!! Although the poor were very poor, and the rich had wonderful feasts. They did eat peacock, which is something you don't hear about now!! (and they didn't have chips - AAAH!)
3-Sorry, don't know that one!
4-Yes, they really did hang pirates, they also burnt witches at the stake!
5-They rode horses, or had horse-drawn carts. Mules were also popular.
6-Yes, they had guns, like the ones you see in pirate films, big long guns whick look like the ones we use for hunting nowadays, not small and sophisticated like the ones now.
