what would be a better option-learning french or chinese,if one wants to make a career in foreign languagas?

more people are going for french so are'nt those who have knowledge of a language known to few people at advantage,in terms of getting a job as a translatir?

be multi-lingual...the more languages the better. the UN loves people who can talk more than one language. Although they prefer French as an additional working language.

"CHINESE" no doubt about it , businessman from both the countries are frequently visiting each other and they look for translators,you can get good emoluments .
