the most unhealthy part of processed foods are the sugar and 'bad' fats, especially hydrogenated vegetable fat. this means the fat is an unnatural one, because it has been processed to make it solid instead of liquid at room temp. your body can't use it properly.

Junk food is a slang word used fo foods which are not whole foods. Today we eat a lot of convenience foods but these are not always junk food. You should try to eat a well balance diet every day. This means your need carbohydrates (potatoes, pasta, bread) protein (fish, meat, pulses) Vitamins & Minerals (fruit, vet, etc) even fat. Try to steer clear of saturated fat. This is fat which hard when not hot. The occational take away will do you no harm. Everything in moderation.

absolutely not. it includes foods that are high in sugars, fats, fried, etc. almost anything that you can buy from a filling station and eat it right away is considered junk food.

yes.eating junk food is eating the food that will make our health bad.usually,it is the food that contains hogh amount of fat and calories and will cause illness such as heart attack and high blood pressure.so,it is not wise to take junk food often.

No, I don't think the term applies to just fast food. I think it applies to any 'unhealthy' food, with 'empty calories' & with very little nutritional benefit, such as crisps or chocolate or those microwave ready meals etc...

Oh no there are many other junk foods that you will find in every store. American store are full of it and that is why we have many illnesses that other countries dont have.

In America, any place where you get your food fast and/or has a drive thru is fastfood. Nicer restaurants don't have your food ready in 3 minutes or have drive thrus.
