Every night.. ahem, morning, I go to sleep at 3AM or after. I've been crawling into bed earlier every night (first 1AM, then 11PM, etc.), but I end up getting out again one or two hours later because I can't sleep. Any tips?

My stepdad said if I go to sleep early in the morning and wake up at eight AM, getting only five or six hours of sleep, my problem would be solved. My older sister has been waking me up at ten in the morning (I ususally wake up around one PM) and my problem wasn't solved yet. :/ Should I wake up even earlier than ten AM?

Thanks everyone! I'll be waking up at 9AM this morning, and tonight I'll go to sleep and 11PM. That's 10 hours of sleep, and during school I go to sleep 10PM and wake up 7AM. So that schedule's good enough for me! Thanks again for the advice. <3

You have to set a regular sleep/wake cycle. Go to bed the same time every night and get up the same time every morning. Keep active during the day. Melatonin can help you fall asleep.

Stay up all night and then all day the next day, and go to sleep about 9, and that will help. At least for a few nights it will.

go to bed at the same time, and get up at the same time each day. your body needs to get into a regular routine. do your best to stick to it. go to your doctor if it becomes a serious problem. or try sleeping aids for a short time if needed.

Try sleeping pills and go to sleep at the same time ever night. Your bodyclock needs to get used to one time.
