a 'miracle' merely means 'something which i do not understand'.
i have certainly seen things i do not understand.
as an atheist i am big enough to admit that there are things i do not understand. i am also brave enough and curious enough to want to understand them.
if i were a believer i should just say: 'a! this is a miracle!' and leave it for someone else (or god) to sort out.
but i am bigger than that.

As an atheist I wouldn't believe in miracles, at least not in the sense of a supernaturally caused miracle.
I might believe in a miracle only to the extent of thinking that an occurrence that is improbable and the cause of which I do not yet understand, has happened.
In practice though, I never use the term miracle except in a mocking way, since the standard use of miracle is to imply supernatural causes (which do not exist).
:-)

I'll believe it's a miracle when I can set up the circumstances of the performance. No one wants to take me up on it. Instead, all I get is double-talk and rationalizations about how I'm taking Jesus's EXACT words out of context. (Remember Jesus? The guy your entire religion is based on...)
It's all a game, and you've been played.

If you mean "miracle" in the sense of "a deed performed by a supernatural being," then no.
If you mean "miracle" in the sense of "very unlikely outcome given the odds," then yes.

I think being atheist is a mental condition. If God himself were to come down and slap an atheist in the face I think that person would still deny to everyone that it really happened and it was a "hoax". They will understand someday.. denying Christ is the worst of all sins you can commit on this earth.

A medical miracle, maybe. I felt that science and technological advancements are amazing and more time and energy should be dedicated to these subjects.
