My budget is limited but I don't want to stay at the worst guesthouse, too. Let's say I have around 70 dollars to spend for accommodation per day. What is the best place: Can be anything from hotel to apartment or condominium.

Well, you don't have to spend that much money per day even for a good one!
There are actually hotels/resorts/guesthouses with rates start from about 20 dollars to 400 dollars. For you budget, you can have choices. Let's see.

1. Best Western Samui Bay, 4 star Hotels. The rates is around 55-60 us dollars.
2. Central Samui Villege, 4 star Hotels. The rates is around as well 55-60 us dollars.

I prefer Best Western Samui Bay as I think there is a very nice view seeing. But you can also check about other ones at www.excelloz.com. Then you can compare and contrast by yourself to suit your wants.

You can get more info and plenty hotel info at www.samuihotel.biz and/or www.on-samui.com websites.

70 bucks a day will get you a very nice room indeed.
