I just ate a macaroni dish that I just realized is almost 1000 calories! I was about to go to sleep (since it's 100AM over here), but I want to burn some of the calories off first.

If you can walk to my place in Bend, Oregon and then back to your place I think you might burn at least 900 of them off...

The carbs won't "stick" to you and show up on your waist for at least a couple of days--digestion does take time, you know. (FYI, I'm feeding my face at Denny's at 4:30 a.m. as I type this.) Medical columnist Dr. Peter Gott frequently mentions his "no flour, no sugar" diet which is just that--avoid foods with added flour or added sugar, and you'll cut out carbs without having to obsess about which particular foods have how much sugar (I love tomatoes, which are high in sugar--but it's natural, not added). You might not be able to do much about the carbs tonight, but this approach is one you can adopt long-term.

You don't need or even want to try to burn carbs, you want to burn body fat.
Your always going to be putting carbs in your body your whole life.
1000 calories would take a whole day of running to burn off, but your body is using about 500 of those calories to keep your body functioning properly.
The other 500 in probably being metabolized into body fat.
Do you get the picture of whats happening now.
Burn your body fat not your carbs. (you eat carbs not body fat)
