its like hot or bitter?

i'd rather have the bitter one, since i'm used to drinking distgusting black coffee. i hate milk (which is basically the only thing that washes hot down, water just makes it worse), so i wouldn't want the really hot wasabi (although i can stand hot cheetos. :D)

Wasabi is a Japanese horseradish that is actually rare but even the faux wasabi (a mixture of horseradish and mustard) is tasty. They both are hot and slightly bitter. They are used mostly in sushi and with sashimi (raw, very fresh fish).

Ampalaya is a bitter melon grown in the Phillipines and used as a treatment for diabetes. I'm not sure if it is actually one of the bitter melons that the Japanese and Chinese cooks prize. They are often used in soups. I have had soup served in the bowl of a hollowed out bitter melon that had carvings on the face of it. Very elegant and a delicious accompaniment.

Ampalaya, definitely!!! I love how water tastes after eating ampalaya, soooooooooooooooo sweet....

i would have to say wasabi. it soo goes with sushi. and i hate all kinds of melons. (except watermelon :p)
