There is no definitive "steering" in a balloon, even though sometimes winds are slightly different at different altitudes which makes for some adjustments... basically you go where the winds take you... to me thats the best part! When we fly we have no idea where we will end up, complete freedom. So to answer the question.... go high, hit a jet stream, and end up where you end up!

First I'd fly over the The Alps or Pyranese towards Venice. Then down to Sicily where I'd look down Mt Etna. After that, I'd nip across the Atlantic (looking out for whales) where I'd fly over New York, The Grand Canyon, Las Vegas and then down to Roswell - I'd fly over area 51 and wave at the little aliens.

why as far from the u.k. its a beautiful place have you been and looked around the whole of it i live in wales and the scenery takes my breath away . i live in a old farmhouse and every morning i look out the window as I'm taking my shower and see mountains its breathtaking and obviously very isolated .

i would fly over to germany, look at the castles, then over switzerland enjoying the gorgeous scenery then over italy to venice......... wonderful!
