You shouldn't be ashamed of being who you are. If your happy being gay then embrace who you are and if anyone has a problem with it. It's your life. It's your happiness. Don't worry about them worry about yourself. God doesn't choose who is what. Personally I don't even believe in god. But all gay people I have known always said they always knew they were gay from early childhood. So figure out what you are. And don't worry about the thoughts of anyone else. But if your ashamed and all of being gay might be your not even gay. If your gay and you like guys then be proud of who you are.

There is NOTHING wrong with being gay. The two people that are gay that I'm close with are two of the most amazing guys I've ever met. Don't feel ashamed, you're you and that's awesome.

I do however know that not everyone is as accepting...so what you need to do before you tell people is figure out those people who you can tell. The people who really don't care if you're gay, lesbian, straight, rainbow colored, three eyed, or has 12 fingers are the people you'll want to tell cause they'll be the ones who'll love you no matter what.

Why are you gay? Well, I can't really answer that, you were just made that way. And you're right, there are tons of other people which is why you shouldn't feel terrible.

There are people who are asexual so they have no attraction to either sex. Which would you rather? No attraction to anyone, or attraction to your own sex? I'd rather like girls.

Head up, no worries.

Honey, God doesn't create gay people and then throws them in hell. If God has created you this way then he would never punish you for it. You're not gay, you're just being convinced you are by the media or by unsure sexual desires at this young age of yours. We all go through strange desires but you have to fight them. It is not normal to fall for somebody from the same sex in a sexual way. I'm not against people who do so but I pitty them for not realizing what they're doing. The gay culture is starting to grow, go mainstream and the media thinks it's cool. Imagine if you were born 50 years ago when the gay community wasn't that big, and you didn't know what the word 'gay' meant..would you still want to be with somebody from your same sex? I doubt it. You're only 13, you've got the rest of your life to try to figure what you really want. Don't put yourself in this category forever just because of one fetish or desire at this very young age.

Good Luck!

Maybe you're just confused & don't know the direction to go in.
You do not have to be gay... it's a choice that you decide.
The opinion of other people is not so important, but your opinion of yourself is important.
You sound like you may be deeply concerned about how God sees you.
You do not have to be ashamed when you do nothing that you would be ashamed of.

You poor thing, I can imagine how you feel so alone and scared. I worked as a school nurse and i have a son who is 16 and I would love him no matter what sexual persuasion he was/is, I would only hope he felt safe talking to me about his fears so he wouldn't feel so alone and afraid.

Beyond what most people think it has been proven in science that a person can not choose what sexual feelings they have as it is already in your genetic makeup before you are born {it grows in the brain at about 13th week of pregnancy}

One thing you should know is that if you choose to see a therapist they can not talk to your parents about anything you say once you are over the age of 12 without your permission. I tell you this as it is always easier to talk to someone outside of your family to make a plan to tell yours. Plus it helps to have allies that are adults who can give you advice to help you make choices that feel right for you. If you just need to talk to someone feel free to send me a note, you can send it off of my profile. Judi T. {aka Da'Mom}

First off you are not gay that is only something in which the devil wants you to believe society as trained individuals minds to believe that we have to have a family be with someone in order to be complete but that is not true God had intend that some of people are not suppose to get married or be with someone else they are just suppose to serve him completely God has a special plan for your life and I will be praying that you rebuke the demonic spirit of homosexuality and live your life as a child of GOD asking, and seeking his direction be blessed because your father in heaven is blessed

Peter,
Why do you think you are gay. Maybe you are just confused. You need to talk to others. It is hard to know where you are from, but most schools have counselors that you can talk to about your concerns, if you cannot talk to parents or family.
It seems you have two choices.
Choice one is to decide you are gay and live your life and be happy about it. or
Decide you are not gay and live your life and be happy about it.
But the ABSOLUTE WRONG THING TO DO IS TO DESTROY YOURSELF OVER THIS. It is under your control whether you are going to be happy.
