Because you haven't turned your brain off? When this happens to me, I think about something boring, like how much of each food group I ate during the day.
Taking herbs or supplements can help. All of the following have worked for me (but it is not necessary to take them all at once:) Valerian, kava - kava, melatonin, GABA, magnesium and calcium, and chamomile. If you are younger than 18, be sure to check the labels as some of them you should not take if you are a minor.

Try valerian root. It's a natural, herbal sedative. Safe to use and not habit-forming. I've been taking it for years and I sleep like a baby.

to tell u, that u might be on highpo or u think alot of things like homework an etc...
but noe try to sleep early or take naps

Watch C-Span and read some old school textbooks. You'll be sleepy in no time. Basically do stuff that you have no interest in whatsoever.
