Layers are good. If you have fine hair, you won't want to get a perm because it your hair will weigh the curls towards your roots and eventually take the curl out. There's a great cut that's in right now called the DaVinci cut, it's layered and looks very nice. Good Luck! :)

It's all just a matter of personal preference. We have short hair and guys just like it. And i prefer a person with short hair over a person with long hair because long hair tends to make guys look also girly.

You want something that will make your hair look thicker than what it really is. I would say curls would be the best style for you. If you not a curl kinda gal, then perhaps getting flips in layers.

Fine hair needs an undercut. It will give you much much more volume.
