Umm, J V, the Declaration was officially adopted on July 4th, 1776.

The Dunlap Broadsides (copies of the original document) were made shortly thereafter and distributed. I'm not sure what you're talking about.

If you mean the Constitution, you are correct - but we don't celebrate the ratification of the Constitution on July 4th.

Actually, on this date the document was released, after giving the signers adequate time to hide because there lives may have become forfeit had the revolution not panned out.
