Double or triple layer fencing with trenches to stop vehicle ramming, sensors, cameras greatly increased border patrol with equipment such as night vision infrared sensors to pick up foot prints, unmanned aircraft....each in an appropriate place.
Then we need detention to hold people until deportation and at least a while as a deterrent. Lack of detention space is one of our problems. We have to end this 'catch and release' program.
We also need strict interior enforcement against illegals and employers, and, once we figure out what to do with those already here, we need to once and for all dismantle the benefit packages that draw more to come each year.

there are about 200 of the 6000 that bush promised to spread across the southern borders in California Az. and texas, I saw on fox news that the illegals are coming by the bus loads waving at the national guard, if that is not a crying shame then I dont know what is

We need to wall up OUR border and have armed US troops patrolling OUR border with orders to shoot to kill anyone crossing the border who refuses to halt when ordered to do so. Only this way will we stop these criminals and threats to national security from coming here. This would also help deter those smuggling drugs across the border.

Well, I believe that we have guards to guard the borders, to me it doesn't seem to work cause here in Kentucky there are loads of Mexicans and it angers me cause they know they are illegal and taking our Jobs and homes, I mean they are not even Americans and don't even have green cards and how dare they steal our land and make themselves a home here!

i think we should build 2 or 4 layers of walls all the way around that shock when you touch them that are very tall slick and on top alot of barbed wire with outpost here and there and if they wanna come then let them but only legally its our country we have the right to do that and we are still lettign them come over but only the fair way

What ever we are using doesn't work.If you can smuggle tons of drugs in every year you can get anything or anyone in.
