I just married someone I met on Yahoo!. My friend met a man on eHarmony and they are getting married soon. It expands your field of choices and it is getting more and more difficult to meet people.

I am marrying someone from Yahoo! Personals that I met a little over two years ago. We are getting married next April. Just talk to them first and then date and if you are compatible then where you met won't matter! Just be in love and be loved and marriage with happen when it happens! 1Corinthians13:4-8

Why not? If you've been together long enough to know, and have been open with each other...go for it. Honey, they're all shark pools (meaning bars, church, online, when it comes to meeting men), so it's not where you meet someone - it's about the established relationship.

If I were thinking about making that kind of life-time commitment with someone, having met that someone by some non-traditional means wouldn't be any sort of obstacle.

Yes if you really loved this person... Doesn't matter if you never met them or not.. Sometimes not meeting them is the only way you can be sure they love you for your mind and not your body or what you can do for them

Sure if you had me the person and spent time with them real time and not all online. You have to find out if they are real and meet them in the flesh.
