Because their parents indulge them when they are little. As they get older, they learn that they need only whine to get what they want. Usually their parents are the same way.

Because they have been conditioned to believe that if they complain - whatever is upsetting them will be fixed. And if not immediately, they just have to complain louder and longer and eventually, it will be done. I had this same problem with my kids until I was taught to not "fix" everything and let them realize that some things are just not going to be perfect or even comfortable and thats life. It was a rough year but they are much more pleasant now and they appreciate so many things so very much more now. Good luck!!

Be the person you want your children to be. They complain because their parents or people they are around have complained and have not taught them to see the positive in life.

They are just natural born complainers. They see the bad and not the good.

same reason everyone complains...because they can. I myself will sometimes just look around and find something to complain about. It can be fun.

Because some of them don't know how to appreciate what they have. Plus, they probably think that everything revolves around them and that everything has to reach they're satisfaction.

cause thats their job and our job as adults to teach them not too be like that.. but then again a lot of parents make their children that way cause they are like that themselves and kids just mimic us, or maybe the parents have given them too much.

They are growing thru stages of life and definately there will be things that they come across that needed an answer from an experienced adult.

Hmmm....thats difficult to answer.
Children really shouldnt feel a need to complain...maybe they are spoilt and expect everything.....or maybe they are learning their behaviour from an adult? ;-)
