I like you because of who you are to me..A true friend.
And if I don't get this back I'll take the hint.
Tonight at midnight your true love will realize they like you.
Something good will happen to you at 1:00-4:00 PM tomorrow.
It could be anywhere -- AOL, Yahoo, outside of school, anywhere Get
ready for the biggest shock of your life
Please send to 15 people in 15 minutes.
Remember:
"A good friend will come bail you out of jail....
But a true friend will be sitting next to you saying ..
WE screwed up, but we had fun! "
Proud to be your Friend!
Make sure you read all the way down to the last sentence, and don't skip ahead.
I've learned...that life is like a roll of toilet paper. The closer
it
gets to the end, the faster it goes.
I've learned...that we should be glad God doesn't give us everything we ask for.
I've learned...that money doesn't buy class.
I've learned...that it's those small daily happenings that make life so spectacular.
I've learned...that under everyone's hard shell is someone who wants to be appreciated and loved
I've learned...that the Lord didn't do it all in one day. What makes me think I can? I've learned...that to ignore the facts does not change the facts.
I've learned. I've learned...that the less time I have to work, the more things I
get done.
To all of you...make sure you read all the way down to the last
sentence.
It! 'S National Friendship Week.
Show your friends how much you care.
Send this to everyone you consider a FRIEND, even if it means sending it back to the person who sent it to you.
If it comes back to you, then you'll know you have a circle of
friends.
OR
True Friendship
Are you tired of those sissy-*** "friendship" poems that
always sound good, but never actually come close to reality?? Well,
here is a series of promises that actually speak of true friendship:
1. When you are sad -- I will help you get drunk and
plot revenge against the sorry bastard who made you sad
2 When you are blue --I will try to dislodge whatever
is choking you.
3. When you smile -- I will know you finally got laid.
4. When you are scared -- I will rag on you about it
every chance I get.
5. When you are worried -- I will tell you horrible
stories about how much worse it could be until you quit whining.
6. When you are confused -- I will use little words to explain it to your
dumb ***
7. When you are sick -- Stay the hell away from me until
you are well again. I don't want whatever you have.
8. When you fall -- I will point and laugh at your
clumsy ***.
9. This is my oath..... I pledge it to the end. "Why?"
you may ask; "because you are my friend".
Remember....... A good friend will help you move.....a
REALLY good friend will help you move a body.......let me know if
you ever need me to bring a shovel.
Friendship is like peeing your pants, everyone can see it, but only you
can feel the true warmth

Friendship is a term used to denote co-operative and supportive behaviour between two or more social entities. relationship which involves mutual knowledge, esteem, and affection. Friends will welcome each other's company and exhibit loyalty towards each other, Their tastes will usually be similar and may converge, and they will share enjoyable activities. They will also engage in mutually helping behavior, such as exchange of advice and the sharing of hardship. A friend is someone who may often demonstrate reciprocating and reflective behaviors. Yet for many, friendship is nothing more than the trust that someone or something will not harm them.
Value that is found in friendships is often the result of a friend demonstrating on a consistent basis:
the tendency to desire what is best for each other.
sympathy and empathy.
honesty, perhaps in situations where it may be difficult for others to speak the truth.
mutual understanding.
It is often considered that a true friend is capable of deep feelings, which may be unexpressible, except in times of great trouble, when they come to one's aid.
In a comparison of personal relationships, friendship is considered to be closer than acquaintanceship, although there is a range of degrees of intimacy in both friendships and acquaintances. For many people, friendship and acquaintanceship lie along the same continuum.

True friendship is when you can always have someone to count on no matter what, that you can tell that person anything that goes on w/ you. Someone that won't lie to you. A true friend is someone that will always care for you. A true friend won't let one little thing between you two b/c your friendship means the most to them. And that's what i think a true friend is.

true friendship is finding the same things funny and knowing that person inside out and knowing that that person will not get embarrased by you but will find that funny and wil defend you from people that make fun of you...and being able to spend weeks with each other and no one else and not get bored for one minute a true friendship will tell you the truth even if it hurts and you will not get mad at them for being truthfull, and also a true friendship will accept your bf/gf even if they don't really like them and try to make an effort to like them , but also a true friend will be one of the meanest people in your life because they will tell you what they dont like about you straight to your face and be honest and not try to put it in a nice way just so you wont get hurt...

A True Friend not only likes to hang out with you and party and have good times, but thinks about you when you're apart and wishes good things for you. A True Friend may not talk to you every day or even every week, but can catch up in a matter of minutes. A True Friend will come to your aid, even when you haven't talked to them in weeks. Time doesn't lessen a True Friend's affinity for you. True Friends also are most honest with you, rather than shining you on.
someone who cares and is there... who just doesn't say they do and not mean it, somone you can call and talk to when your having a really bad time and you can trust with anything .. who won't turn aorund and stab you in the back ...

A guy who really is your friend also sleeps with you and gives you head on the kitchen table. He also writes poetry. I cannot separate friendship with men from sex. If I don't want to get intimate at some point, we are not friends. It's an initiation ritual. My best friend Michelle tried seducing me for years. In our circles, that is what you do with friends. We all passed on boyfriends to the next friend and the next lover became our friend and then our lover. Michelle didn't bed me but my ex-boyfriend Lawrence slept with Gordon who slept with Michelle and was a friend to us both. He tried seducing me and I thought about sleeping with him but didn't get the chance.
