I've tried every configuration possible, tried the manufacturer's customer service and got this response "you must be connecting the cables wrong." Duh! And what are YPbPr2 & YPbrPr1 ports? There are 5 ports for each, but my Xbox and Nintendo only have 3 cables.

They are component ports http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Component_video I know nothing about hooking up the cables Try this, make sure you're connected to only one type of port (ie YPbPr1 and not 2) and match colors.

maybe you have a PAL system XBOX and Nintendo and your LCD tv only displays on NTSC.
